We meet on the first Friday of the month at 2.30 at a members home.
We are a relatively new group. Our first meeting was in August 2025 reading Glorious, a comedy by Peter Quilter. Very funny. Heiress Florence Foster Jenkins is convinced she is an operatic star, but has a terrible singing voice. There’s a film of the play with Meryl Streep.
We are still finding our feet and, have tried a variety of plays since then, including Cheshire Cats, Midsummers Nights Dream and Under Milk Wood. Also a couple of plays that didn’t work so well for us, but we still had fun!!
