Walkers meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month, with an optional pub lunch at the end.
The walks are slightly longer and more demanding than for the Strollers.
Any volunteers to lead future walks are most welcome.
It can be done as a shared activity: just let Martin know.

LAST WALK:
July 2026 - Prestwood.
The very hot weather meant that the May and June walks had to be cancelled. Finally we had a temperate day !
9 of us were on the walk led by Gillian. A hot walk but quite a bit of shade.
Walked 5.8 miles (2.25 hours) in an anticlockwise direction from the Pole Cat Inn, through Longwood Wood. Emerged onto a lane and started to cross a field where a herd of bullocks was grazing just at our exit point! So double backed and walked round by the lane. Rejoined the path criss crossing fields and lanes to arrive back at the Pole Cat Inn for lunch.
A hot walk but made bearable with quite a bit of shade.
